Hi all! I’m excited to be back, it’s been a busy few months (more about this later). However, I’m even more excited that we’ve booked our annual spring vacation. For the past couple years, we take a relaxing spring vacation with one of our favorite couple friends. This particular vacation is my favorite because the agenda consists of pool, beach, eat, repeat. How perfect is that? We try our best to disconnect and the only time you’ll find us staring at a screen is on the beach while we pass around an iPad for an intense game of Words with Friends. We’ll only leave the resort once or twice depending on the location but other than that, you’ll find us hanging out around the resort.
What better way to start our week than with some awesome sales? They are on point! You won’t want to miss out on some of these. This is dangerous territory for me because I use and love most of the items on the list.
My experience during my first round of the Whole30 Program turned the better half and I into kale snobs while cooking like no other. Needless to say, some tasty recipes came to fruition because of it. Two variations of kale salads were our Whole30 champions throughout days 7-26.
I know, I know I planned to be consistent on here but I let life get in the way and it’s been a couple months since my last post. It’s been busy but all that matters is I’m here! Let’s go…
A new year upon us means many of us are trying to be a better version of ourselves through our resolutions. One of my main resolutions for this year, besides keeping up on my blog :), is to figure out what is irritating my already sensitive skin more and more every day. I truly believe that we are what we eat and our bodies manifest it in different ways from skin allergies to digestive disorders to the way our brain functions. What we put in our body will always show in one form or another. So, with that in mind, and much research, I decided to embark on the journey that is Whole30 Program.
Here are all my go-to places to shop. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll find something anywhere I go. These are usually where I find staples for my closet. I love these stores because I find both trendy and classic pieces. I’ll be sure to keep you posted with my current obsessions and steals from these shops.
